do you do personal one on one training? My son just turned 14 and is 6 ft 2. He already can kick a football over 45 yrds. He is already pretty good at aiming for the mark but he needs help with the punting and putting it all together. I think your video concept is great but I am looking more for a one on one commintment. do you have any suggestions? thanks

Hi and thanks for your interest in Coach Hoffman’s instruction. Unfortunately his NFL contract prohibits one on one training or running camps but he does like Chris Boniol’s camps if any are in your area.

    Good luck!

Coach…Every week I see kick returners bringing the punted ball back for 10, 20, and more yards. The reason is simple. The kicker is putting the ball in their hands. The fact is that because kickers usually practice with another kicker they have a catch, so to speak. Then, in a game their unconsiouse instinct is to kick a high one to the recievers spot.
One, why not lower the kick and place the ball, left or right out of the receivers reach?
Two, if they are in range of the goal line, what about putting it into the coffin corner?

Note: I have a friend who has a son who is the 2nd string licker for his high school. In their champion series game ‘Cheesey’ kicked 2 balls out within the 5 yard line. One later became a safety.
